Rationale

The Search Engine Optimization(SEO) analyst is essential to a company’s operations because of the contribution they make to the enhancement of the visibility and ranking of websites within the pages of search engine results (SERPs) (Malaga, 2008). This is significant for a few reasons. First, search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo are responsible for the vast majority of web traffic(Bianchi, 2023). Second, companies that have a high position on the search engine results pages have a better chance of receiving organic traffic and making purchases(Farkas, 2020).

SEO analysts specialise in the process of enhancing a website’s performance in search engine results using their extensive knowledge and expertise. When it comes to ensuring that websites are optimised for search engines, these professionals make use of a wide variety of strategies, including keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and technical SEO.

An SEO analyst will employ a variety of strategies to optimise a website or pages for search engines, such as developing content that is rich in keywords, boosting website speed, optimising meta tags, and establishing backlinks of high quality. The analyst may assist generate more organic visitors to the website by doing so, which can lead to greater sales and revenue if the analyst is successful.

A higher percentage of visitors who want to make a purchase from the website might be brought there by an SEO analyst who focuses on relevant keywords(Goodwin, 2017). This indicates that site visitors have a greater likelihood of having an interest in the goods or services that are provided on the website, which may lead to better conversion rates.
